The rural life of Sussex from a bygone age
The South Downs Heritage Centre is a community partnership formed in 2007 and opened by football personality and BBC television presenter, Jimmy Hill.
Working in partnership with the Burgess Hill District Lions Club, many events and activities have been staged with them over the years, raising thousands of pounds for the local community.
Exhibits donated and loaned by the local community are displayed in themed zones to illustrate the rural life in Sussex from a bygone age. Admission is free. Contributions are invited which are donated to good causes in the local community.
