South Downs Nurseries are operated by a long established family firm specialising
in new, rare, unusual and exotic plants. Our undercover plant area is one of the largest
in the country, while the garden centre stocks all your garden requirements and a vast
selection of wildlife friendly merchandise.
Thank you to everyone who supported our Macmillan Cancer
Support night last Saturday in association with the Burgess Hill District Lions with
ticket purchases and donations.
We have raised a staggering £3500 for Macmillan nurses in Sussex. We also managed to
get Mark Davies, who has undergone lifesaving treatment for bowel cancer and
written the extraordinary book "saving my arse." We managed to
sell around 50 books at South Downs nurseries with all the proceeds going to
Macmillan. Books are available from the link on our website.
We are still trying to increase the money raised so
